BLACK BADGE PROGRAMME
For the cause of injustified pay scales of ALP’s in 6th CPC , to protest that in the form of Black badges from 2nd November 2008 onwards… All ALPs from all zones are requested to attend Nagpur meeting with black badges on 07.11.2008

Dear friends,
The idea of ALP UNITY and the programme of agitations are good.
The Locopilots of Trivandrum Division gives full support to this.
But do not go alone.
Let AILRSA, the only Union, still fighting for the demands of Running staff to take up the issue and thereby The entire running staff to go for agitation to achieve the demands of ALPs,
Not only for ALP,This is the demand of all category up to Locopilot(mail).Act accordingly,
Here ALP UNITY could boost ALRSA leaders in this regard and can work and make unity amoung all running staff and go for a leagal strike under the leadership of ALRSA.I am sure that all locopilots off Trivandrum Division will support,
But donot go alone in the name of ALP UNITY,because Railway administration is always trying to split the employeese.
Ask ALRSA to take up the issue and you the ALP UNITY to work behind to give all support and action to make the programme a grand success.
Surely it is too late,
No time to waste.

Why can't u think for a strike from 26th January 2009 onwards demanding
> Rectify the 6thPC anomalies of Running staff expecially for ALPs
> Reduce working hrs to 8hrs
> Revice HOUR
> Calender day Rest
> Avoid Crew from coupling/uncoupling jobs
> Revice Running allowance due from 1.1.06
> Treat Running staff atleast as Animals,not machines
