Dear Comrades,
Organising assistant loco pilots alone is a suicidal idea. This will weaken the fight against the movement of reduction of PAY ELEMENT and many other demands. RB is not issued any order for claiming 55/30% pay element till now. They are trying to divide our unity. Dont go behind this type of thinking. Bring your existing Association(AILRSA) for leading the fight.

Dear Friends,
There is a story about 4 cows. They were unitedly moving. Tiger want to eat them. They resisted together Tiger failed. Later he tried to divide them. Succeeded and conquered them one by one. Railway Board has not issued order for claiming 30% pay element for Running staff. They (TIGER )are watching the FUN of ALP separate movement and even extend petty ingredients to the organisers. After a fine day there will not be any Pay hike and 30% pay element will be reduced.THINK and ACT.

Better not think that 30% is any extra allowance.Actually runningmen pay has been divided in two parts :
1. 30% pay element for HRA,DA,allowances
2. Mileage(for motivation towards work).Actually mileage is not revised and we are suffering heavy losses since last few years.
Actually that arrears if paid reasonably it will be 4 fold of pay commission...

Dear friends,
The idea of ALP UNITY and the programme of agitations are good.
The Locopilots of Trivandrum Division gives full support to this.
But do not go alone.
Let AILRSA, the only Union, still fighting for the demands of Running staff to take up the issue and thereby The entire running staff to go for agitation to achieve the demands of ALPs,
Not only for ALP,This is the demand of all category up to Locopilot(mail).Act accordingly,
Here ALP UNITY could boost ALRSA leaders in this regard and can work and make unity amoung all running staff and go for a leagal strike under the leadership of ALRSA.I am sure that all locopilots off Trivandrum Division will support,
But donot go alone in the name of ALP UNITY,because Railway administration is always trying to split the employeese.
Ask ALRSA to take up the issue and you the ALP UNITY to work behind to give all support and action to make the programme a grand success.
Surely it is too late,
No time to waste.
Military employees already benifited by their agitation.

AILRSA Central delegation under the leadership of Com. MN Prasad, Acting Secretary General and comprising of Com. L Mony, Com. JS Tank, Com. NB Dutta, Com. N Sarkar, Com. Sanjeet Sarkar and Com. C. Sunish met Member Staff, Railway Board at Parliament Bhavan, on 17.11.08 in presence of Com. Basudeb Acharia MP, as the Minister of Railways and Chairman Railway Board were out of New Delhi.
The discussion with Member Staff was very nice and cordial. In which we could able to present our grievances on the recommendation of 6th CPC and its implementation. We expressed our serious resentment of the pay packet allowed to ALP, in spite of ample reasons are there to give a better pay packet what was offered by 6th CPC. The member Staff also agreed to our point and informed as that Railway Board also viewed the issue seriously and sympathetically and assured some thing within the frame work will be done to settle the grievances of ALP’s, but did not spell out what exactly the Railway Board would do . Any how we placed our views clearly before him.
